Worth Black 4 iron is 22* loft, 39Гўв‚¬Вќ length, and 60* lie angle. My Mizuno 4 iron is 23* of loft, 39Гўв‚¬Вќ in length, and 61* lie angleГўв‚¬В¦ Ft. I was fitted for the Mizunos as +3/4Гўв‚¬Вќ, 1* upright, and 1* strong. Worth Black irons vs what I knew my specs were with my Mizunos. Each set of irons has different lengths, lofts, lies, weighting, etc, even within the SAME manufacturer, so the first thing I had to check was all of the specs of the Ft. When one goes through a fitting and they are told that the set they should order should be, Гўв‚¬Е“Plus 1/2 inch, 2* upright, standard lofts,Гўв‚¬Вќ that's for that SPECIFIC set of irons, NOT for all irons. I've addressed what I'm about to go through numerous times on golf forums. When I was notified I was selected for these irons, it would be the first time in years that I was going to Гўв‚¬Е“buildГўв‚¬Вќ a set without the exact specs given to me from a fitting for those very irons, so I needed to go with what was currently working, by using the specs for my Mizunos. Hmm, ok, I'm in on seeing if this can possibly be! More forgiveness, and by creating a consistent loft system of 4* between each club, one should see lower scores.

Worth Black entry comes-up on here and I read more about what the Гўв‚¬Е“claim-to-fameГўв‚¬Вќ is supposed to be about this set of irons. I love the feel, my GIR has increased a bit (I'd love it to be higher), and they look great! Then the Ft. I've had the Mizunos in the bag for a number of months now and have been happy. I wasn't really interested in getting irons that hit the ball further, with less spin, because I already hit the ball far enough, and because I have a shallow angle of attack, I don't get much spin off my irons anyway. The Mizunos were not the irons recommended by the fitter at Club Champion, but I chose them based on feel, looks, performance, and for being more traditional. I've been through fittings for each of the last 3 sets of irons I've played, so I've always felt like THIS next set of irons was going to be the one that I'd have for a long time. In the past year I've changed irons from Edel to Mizuno MP-18 SC because I noticed that my Гўв‚¬Е“greens in regulationГўв‚¬Вќ (GIR) had decreased to a point where I wasn't very happy, and I knew that in order for that to change, I needed a new set of sticks.
